Deep Teeth Cleaning
A deep cleaning will be recommended when plaque and calculus have started to destroy the bone and tissues supporting your teeth.
This condition is known as periodontal disease, and routine cleaning is no longer advised or effective until the disease is controlled. It is important that we address periodontal disease early, as it will continue to progress without a deep teeth cleaning. If enough bone is lost around the teeth they may become loose and fall out. With early treatment and maintenance we can stop the disease process and get you on track for routine teeth cleanings and optimum oral health.
